I just ran across an ad for a TEAC AD-RW900 combo Cassette Deck / CD Recorder and USB recorder and was wondering if this unit is best for recording old vinyl records and old cassettes onto a computer / CD or am I better off with a higher quality cassette deck and Audacity? I already have a quality Thorens TD-318 tuned up turntable. The ad stated that this TEAC unit upgrades the quality of the source recording before recording it???
