If I had $2000 to spend on an integrated amplifier, there is only one that I would consider.
The Musical Fidelity M5si is a wonderful-sounding amp, and at $1999 it really has no meaningful competition IMO.
It is a real bargain at that price.
It is rated for 150 watts at 8 ohms, and while they publish no spec for 4 ohms, independent tests show that it will put out around 240 watts at 4 ohms.
