I'm looking for an amp + dac for under ~$1200. The two that have caught my eye are the Musical Fidelity V90 ($349) and the NuForce DDA-100 ($549). Both are a combined dac + amp. I know this is a small budget (I'd be fine with spending a little more than these models, however, and I'd also be fine with a separate dac and amp).

This amp will be paired with some Harbeth P3ESR speakers. I only have digital music, so I don't have to worry about phono or cds.

I'm a little worried the Musical Fidelity amp won't have enough oomph at 20 watts per channel (vs. 50 watts with the nuforce).

Which of these do to you recommend? Or is there another dac+amp I should be considering?
