I will keep this short so as to avoid losing interest, but if you want to hear my life story just ask :)

I have auditioned several speakers and amps lately, and am struggling to put together a system that really speaks to me. I have settled on a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 300 speakers, and need a good amp, and maybe a streamer to go with. My problem is, everything I'm looking at pushes me up past $6k USD all in. The dealer I've been working with was able to quote me $3,700 for the speakers, a Rotel amp, and a Sonos thing to stream with, but listening to the music through the Rotel didn't excite me too much. I forgot what amp was used when I first heard the MA Silver 300, but THAT amp blew me away, particularly when playing Oscars Mottetkore's "Oh Holy Night." My main source of music will be streaming. At some point I plan to set up a NAS and rip CD's from the local library to that for a higher-quality source.

My questions, I suppose, are:
(1) What would be a good amp to use with the MA 300?
(2) Are the MA 300 unrealistic, given my desire to keep this under $4k all in?
