Not really banjo player but I had one about 10 year ago. Binaural recording probably reel to reel . I dont know what that sound is at :54 secs.Sound should be centered with alot of scratching noises from from fingers rubbing against the banjo head,banjos are not suppose to be strummed like you strum a guitar.The sound should have a strong sharp midrange sound with no bass or treble of any kind.enjoy!
