Rob Hansen works for Vertec, the company that hogs out the solid aluminum billets that become the chassis for Ayre's new M-XR monoblock amplifier. Each billet starts out at 75lbs and Vertec hogs out about 50lbs of material, leaving an incredible rigid chassis. Vertec then anodizes them and clearcoats them before delivering them to Ayre.
