Hi all, I'm considering to buy SCM19 of the ATC. Unlike the most of the ATC's this beauty is for home usage and a passive speaker. I'll drive this speaker with an AVR until I can afford an appropriate stereo amplification system (a few months). In the specifications of the speaker, an amplification power of 50-300W is recommended. Well, already most of the amplifiers are in that range I think.
My room is a rectangular shaped 15*12 feet (4.5m*3.5m)with the hi-fi and HT systems placed in the middle of the longer side. The distance between the main speakers is 8ft (2.5m) if necessary I listen mostly classical but also rock and jazz.
Should I consider a pre/power combo for this speaker or some integrated like Creek Destiny would be enough?
