These Maestro power cables are Amazing with Video too!!

I have a Maestro power cable hooked up to my Pioneer 500m plasma and a Maestro power cable hooked up to my Directv HD receiver...you need a Cloverleaf c-5 male IEC adapter from http://www.dedicatedaudio.com/inc/sdetail/2246/10286 to hook up these power cables to these Directv receivers.

The imaging has improved BIG TIME in 3D, much more DEPTH!, much more DEFINITION and CONTRAST!...the IMAGE really POPS now!... The DEEP RICH COLORS look very very FILM-LIKE...the BLACKS look very INKY now!.. The picture is SO SHARP that it looks almost like I have a 4K PLASMA now!!...

The HDMI cable I'm using is a mapleshade vivilink 2 plus

These Maestro ac outlets are the best that I have tried!..

If you want to break-in these power cables using a fan your need some power cable burn-in adapters too.

I have tried a number of different power cables (some with astronomical pricetags) in my $25K system, which has sound to die for (Vandersteen, Audio Research, OPPO, Musical Fidelity).

They don't change the sound of the system one tiny bit compared to using the stock power cords supplied by OPPO, Audio research, and Musical Fidelity. If I can't hear the difference in my high-resolution system, I find it rather unlikely that there is any difference to be heard.

As far as I have been able to determine, the hype regarding premium power cords is a lot of horse patooties heated by a lot of hot air.

Furthermore, as an electrical engineer I find the idea of putting a different power cord in front of a well-designed power supply circuit to be something that cannot possibly make any difference. If the power supply is well-designed, which is almost invariably the case in any decent piece of electronic gear, it is more than capable of supplying absolutely pure DC power regardless of the power cord.

To believe that a different power cord is going to make a difference, I fear that one must be extremely ignorant of the engineering principles involved.

Any circuit which is already supplied by the correct DC voltage is not going to perform any better by changing a power cord.

The whole thing reminds me of the amazing secret carburetor that would double an engine's horsepower while increasing its gas mileage (and don't forget the Tice Clock...).

^^^ If these power cables and outlets did not improve my system I would have returned them and got my money back!

Once some of you start trying these products out in your systems...my review here will become much more believable !!

I can't wait until Stereophile does a review on these products!..

Of course there are any number of perfectly good reasons why audiophiles sometimes don't hear changes in power cords or interconnects or anything for that matter, even the Tice Clock. Stereophile Magazine, perhaps ironically ran George Tice's letter to a disgruntled customer explaining the facts of life in the fast lane, and the reasons why audiophiles sometimes don't hear certain tweaks.

I liked these products so much that I'm trying out a prototype Maestro power strip that wont be on the market until later on this year sometime.

The noise floor is PITCH BLACK...the silence is AMAZING!! I've only had it for two weeks, I'll give a full review later on when they come on the market.

Silence?

Try turning the power switch on first.

My modified...almost 4K Pioneer 500m plasma has a even more sharper picture now hooked up to my improved Maestro power strip, it also has that very wet look to the picture that is so pleasing on the eyes!..

Fernando should call these improved power strips....>Baby Maestro "TriPoint" Power Strips!!<
