Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade my current home theater and looking for some advice and clarification on what some of the more important things are that I should be considering (i.e Audyssessy MultEQ XT32, Dolby Atmos). I use the system almost equally for video and audio, so quality in both are important. I wouldn't mind if the new solution had built-in ethernet, bluetooth, and AirPlay, however these features are definitely not primary goals.

My current setup is a room roughly 15x20 feet with the Harmon Kardon AVR320 receiver and Infinity Interlude speaker 5.1 surround (two IL30 fronts, one IL25 center, two IL10 rears, and one IL100 sub). I'm looking to replace the HK AVR soon since I think its about to die - the lights behind front display randomly blink and some surround channel audio flickers occasionally too. Is anyone familiar with the Interlude speakers enough to comment on how they compare to today's higher-end speakers?

From reading other posts here, it seems the brands most recommend are NAD, Marantz, Denon, and Cambridge Audio. I've been thinking about one of the below but I'm really not sure how future-proof these will be.

Marantz NR1605
Marantz SR5009
Marantz SR6008
Denon AVR-X4100W

Thanks!
