Hi all,
I'm new to this and need some advice on a stereo system. I have $2000 - $2500 to spend. I listen to classical music 90% of the time, and I'm looking for the best possible sound quality with classical music CD's (and records down the road). I'm looking for the receiver / amplifier, speakers, and CD player money can buy at this price point.
I've looked at a bunch of low cost receiver/ amplifers like Yamaha R 500, Harmon HK3770, Onkyo TX 8050, and Sherwood RX5502. All seem to have a bunch of negatives including low quality components, and poor sound. I figured I need high quality at this point in my life.
Thanks for your help.
