I need an advice. Looking for a decent stereo amp. I tried to do my own research and found myself confused.

I'm looking to get rid of my inadequate Technics SA-G67 and the speakers that came with it and replace it with something better.

I listen to classical, ambient and jazz- either from FLAC or my Yamaha P550 record player.

I don't need any surround sound or 7.1 setups- just plain old stereo.

I'm looking to spend under a $1600.
