Hey, I'm an audiophile—who am I to call somebody else's hobby odd? Besides, I recognize a bunch of these—like the TDK MAXG jobbies about 2/3s of the way down.
But it's the name that really surprised me. No relation, I think.
Anybody besides me remember that old Russ Manning Gold Key comic? That's what this book reminds me of.
This was going to be an Andy Warholish entry about how boring we can be at <i>Stereophile</i>. Elizabeth's idea, actually; not mine.
Or is this whole "Entertainment In Your Lap" marketing concept just a tad tacky?
Actually, <I>my</I> problem is I don't sleep at all well, so I'm fascinated by the subject. If you are too, this supplement from <I>Nature</I> is a real treasure trove of information.
JC Costa alerted me to this beauty. Of course, $15k is <I<waaay</I> out of my price bracket, but a man can dream.
The late John Peel had a ginormous record collection, but he kept these singles in a separate box where he could always get to them. That's <I>my</I> kind of music lover.
