I love http://www.hackaday.com, but today's entry is the dopest ever: How to use the bt878 chipset on your TV tuner card as a high-speed analog-to-digital converter. <I>Warning:</I> I haven't tried this myself, so I only pass it on as "interesting." As always when playing with the guts of an electronic device, don't mess with it if you're not technically adept. Word!
Auction of "fantastically rare original art and signed memorabilia from children's lit and entertainment giants." All proceeds will be donated to a special children's education fund for Katrina-affected students administrated by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.

A few days ago, I removed my Nintendo Entertainment System — the one I've owned since I was a young boy — from my Walmart television stand — the one I've owned for five years — and placed it on my Target bookcase. I then unplugged the Sony DVD player, wrapped up its wires, and placed it in my bedroom closet.
Waiting for our food to arrive, the four of us sat at the wooden table, two to a side: Boy, girl, boy, boy.
