Even though i had this dvd preordered and got it as soon as it got out,i only watched it last night. The reason? I did not believe there was anything i might actually learn from watching it.I've read so many books about the subject and setup so many turntables(out of necessity,no one here who knew how,so i HAD to learn),i just thought it unnecessary to sit down and watch it.And yet,i did find something useful
Now i understand why changing the VTA wouldn't make any difference but changing the SRA does. Now i understand why applying more tracking weight to the cartridge makes a difference not only to the tracking abilities of the cartridge but to the sound as well. I really did enjoy this dvd and even though there could allways be room for improvement,i wholeheartingly recomment it to all analoque addicts.

Some times we old guys are right. I told you back in July that Mikey's DVD was worth watching even for guys who've been around vinyl for years. Maybe not as much fun for you as a Linda Ronstadt album cover, but worth watching nonetheless.

I know what you want me to say Clay. "Clay, you were right"
Okay, you are right ! Even though it was filmed in 4:3 instead of 16x9 anamorphic. Now,about that Linda cover....
