Oh, say, can you hear! I'm loving it, Jim. As if I needed another reason to be a Rega fan.
Erik,
bt
A P3-24 with the power supply...life could be very sweet. I've never heard the Exact, but that combo might be pretty nice. The P5 is probably worth it, but I doubt it would be that discernable a difference with the upgraded supply on the new 3.
Regards,
Man, I'd kill for a P3-24. It might be a little rich for my blood, though. I definitely want to hear it when my dealer gets one. I'll have to call.
Since, unfortunately, neither of you Rega enthusiasts will be able to get your hands on the "Old Glory" embellished TT, I recommend you fire up your CD players, put on Lee Greenwood's CD entitled "American Patriot" and have a wonderful Fourth of July. Thank God for Country Music. Some days its the only thing that does the job.
My favorite patriotic song is Toto's "Home of the Brave" from their album The Seventh One. I played it a lot after 9/11 because I thought it an appropriate anthem for Operation Enduring Freedom. A close second is Jackson Browne's "I Am a Patriot", although it is somewhat less powerful for me emotionally. God bless America and long live hi-fi!
Rega is doing a great job of PR. I wonder what Roy will come up with?
