Where do I get a single speaker?

I'm looking for a SINGLE bookshelf/monitor sized speaker. I want one with some fairly good bass extension, which rules out most of those designed to be "center" speakers, I think.

Where should I go? Would Audiogon be a source? I'm thinking that few dealers would have an "extra" speaker around for sale...

If you go to amazon.com, they sell Infinity Primus P162 not by pairs but singly. You should read Bob Reina's review of it before you buy, see if it fits your purpose. It does have a surprisingly robust bass performance for its size/price...

As a rear "ambience" speaker in my 2 channel system. I plan to take the existing one (B&W 601) and reunite it with its partner to use in a smaller bedroom system.

Selfdivider, good idea, I'll look into the Infinity Primus P162, that sounds like what I'm looking for at a good price.
