Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 speakers. Any one familier with these?

Not with this specific model, but the Wharfedale's I have heard were very nice.

I am familiar with several models in the Wharfedale line, including Diamonds. I currently have Diamond 7.2's, Pacific Evo 400 and 100's, an Opus Centre and an SW300. They are not the most refined, accurate high end champs, but I think they offer incredible value without sacrificing basic goodness. You will like them.

I've been using a pair of 8.2s for over 5 years (currently researching replacements) and they don't compete with the newest bookshelfs anymore but if you're getting a good deal they're well worth it. Non-audiophile friends are consistently amazed at the sound coming out of my system (Cambridge Audio CD player and Amp)

If you listen to a lot of vocals the Wharfedale Diamonds are very nice, particularly the 9.2.
