stereophile arrival

To whom this may concern:
Recently, over the last few issues, I have received my (subscribed) copy of Stereophile ten to fourteen days after, I have seen the same issue at magazine and equipment dealers. WHY?. Is it possible that the heart of a magazine's readership-- the subscriber obtain the best service? or at least comparable to that of purchasing off the rack?

I've seen that for quite a while. It is probably due to the stores getting theirs in a single, expedited bulk shipment via Fedex, UPS, etc., while we must suffer the vagueries of the USPS.

When JA or SM recover from Las Vegas, perhaps they will give an 'official' answer.

Re: stereophile arrival

Kal, thanks for your reply! This problem appears to have exacerbated over the last few months, bulk mailing predates the extra late arrival of stereophile. I suppose that my hope would lie in coordinating distribution so that all could enjoy around the same time.

thanks again- len
