Request for next RC list

Would it be possible where products have two distinct modes of operation ie hirez players playing CDs or the Sonos player's digital out to comment in the recommneded components entry whether one mode differs greatly in sound quality? This is a particular issue with hirez players in class A+ since their redbook performance must be lower.

Thank you

Jeremy

Space is necessarily limited in "Recommended Components," Jeremy, which is why we request readers also to read the original reviews of the components that interest them, where this sort of information will be available. All the full reviews are available free of charge in our on-line archives: www.stereophile.com/equipmentreviews.

Re: Request for next RC list

Thanks for your reply John, I understand the position and I do use the RC list primarily as a signpost to the full reviews. I think that multiformat hirez disc players are a special case (at least those in class A+) worthy of (literaaly) three or four extra words in their RC entry.

All the best

Jeremy
