Since it was RED in 99 it's probably been replaced by several other colors over time, each of course having an improved audio aspect. Probably has morphed from Dragon, to Shark, Lizzard,Aligator, turtle,Buzzard, each having it's own special audio insulation properties. Waiting for AQ 84V bias wire next month.....

Sorry, but all I can to is confirm that there is no direct information on the net about these (I am a very good surfer).

I think that someone is just going to have to know this information to help you out.

One idea:

Moon Audio (moonaudio.com) makes a Black, Silver, and Blue Dragon cable...maybe it was from them? Their cables are very nice by the way...I use one with my headphones.

Come on...we all know a BLUE Dragon is nothing like a RED Dragon. One really does make it sound better while the other is just not working.
