Questions about sending audio from a PC to an intergrated amplifier.

I wanted to put this question to anyone. Currently I am listening to music using an HP laptop with headphones. I'm using the Itunes interface, but using Foobar 2000 as the music player instead of Quicktime. I'm using some of the DSP compnents contained in Foobar and one thing I am wondering is if I send the audio to my Yamaha receiver then would it make any difference whether or not I use the receiver's DSP functions, such as jazz club? So, should I use one or the other, both, or does in matter at all? Thanks for in advance for any input.

The Jazz Club setting on your Yamaha is likely some sort of artificial reverb. Unless you wish to further alter your music, you probably should avoid employing this setting.
