I always thought these sound pretty good for the money.

Is that the same thing as the Music Hall Bellari vp129 that I was talking about in my first post? They look exactly the same. Or does Music Hall distribute the Rolls under their name?

Music Hall is a distributor, it is the Rolls Bellari VP129.
Edit: Actually, it looks like Bellari is the manufacturer and Rolls and Music Hall are distributors.
There are several great choices available.
The Clearaudio Nano sounds superb. I have spent time listening and it is quiet and catches mui mucho detail.

The Creek OBH 18 MM is darn good, too. The Rega moving magnet cartridges all have adequate output to work with that phono-preamp quite nicely.

A giant killer at 129.00 is the Pro-Ject Phono Box Mk2MM. I gots nothing bad to say about it!

Bellari also came out with a sub-80.00 phonopre that is solid state, but I have not heard it.
Cheers!
