On a more positive note, West Virginia solves final societal problem!

West By God Virginia must be the place to be.

They've solved all their more pressing social issues and moved to finally take care of the last remaining barrier to the pursuit of happiness in their fine state. I am referring to the menace to our children from Barbie Dolls.

When barbies are outlawed, only outlaws will have Barbies.

I see, sadly, that they are still ignoring the menace to their state (who leads the nation in obesity) of allowing thin dolls of male gender to be allowed to continue to deflate the egos of their overfed male-like chilluns.

I figure they will demand all dolls start being shaped more 'realistically' to better insulate (as though they need further insulation) their population from the threat of unrealistically svelt expectations. This is especially true when it comes to banning all male doll figures from being made with 'six pack' abs.

Too bad this can't be left to parents, though.

Christ, that's hilarious

It's not exactly Nazi but it is a prelude to the National Socialist Party of America. What about GI Joe? He gets a pass? GI Joe was solely responsible for me enlisting in the military instead of going to college first. The fines were a lot heavier in the military for partying too much. GI Joe taught me how to powder my privates in the field years before that actually became a reality. It time for me to get back to my foxhole before someone notices me and tags me for ambush.

On a more serious note. I bet, per capita, that West Virginia is in the top 10 for single mothers. I would go so far as to gamble that their offspring are related to their biological fathers. And I don't mean just parental relations either.

No Star Wars figures except for Jaba the Hut?

Luckily, the Pillsbury Dough Boy Doll is protected.

I'm not from West Virginia. Southeast New Mexico. I can go through West Virginia. Something I wouldn't advise you to do unless you stick to the main highways.

If anything, a place with high obesity rates, and one of the lowest income and education rates should be handing out barbies as an exemplary model for girls to emulate! She has numerous well paid careers, and obviously goes to the gym a lot to stay in shape. And notice in all these years she hasn't been caught knocked up? Good use of birth control Ms. Barbie! She also buys American cars, keeps a nice house, and travels in the US for her vacations among other virtues. I can't think of a better role model.

Well, as West Virginia sees it, she can't hold any one job and has only had one boyfriend for 50 years without getting married - I mean, why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

Now I wonder what West Virginia will do when skinny kids can't properly fatten up in order to emulate the Cabbage Patch Grown Up Dolls?

Also, no Hot Wheels of Ferraris and such, only toy cars can real world kids can aspire to. I'm looking forward to the 'Cars on Blocks' series, myself.

Perhaps they will demand a more realistic approach in general and insist that Toys R Us carry "My Little Possum" instead of 'Pony.'

Instead of doll houses, doll trailers?
