McIntosh D100 Digital Preamplifier

McIntosh had their new D100 digital preamplifier on hand with five digital inputs (each with their own DAC according to the company's Marc Lamb) and remote controlled volume. The preamp/DAC has been optimized to work with headphones and will retail for $2,500.

Really wondering how it holds up in the price range. I have a feeling not too well, but we'll have to see. Hoping it does well. It looks gorgeous.

Great addition to the Mc line up for all their analog pre and integrated amps. Nice that it has both a headphone and remote control. Not inexpensive my some standards but with great McIntosh build and sound may the bargain in all of Macdom.
