left or right speakers?

you are facing your audio system. Speaker on your right hand side is called "R speaker" and speaker on your left hand side is called "L speaker". Am i right?

And the "R speaker" should connect to the point at your amplifier which indicates "+R-".

And the "L speaker" should connect to the point at your amplifier which indicates "+L-".

am i right?

If i'm right, then B&W audio enginner connected "+L-" to right speaker and "+R-" to left speaker at my hi-fi

should I kill myself or the B&W staff?

There is another option:
Switch them.

While not as practical as Kal's suggestion, you might also consider the approach of leaving things as they are and deciding that since these are your speakers, you get to decide which is left and which right. Might make that orchestra seem to be seated improperly, but it should do wonders for your self esteem.

Re: left or right speakers?

I propose a third option, turn around and face away from your speakers.

I should be banned for that post

More appropriately, you should be shunned.
