Hello,
I noticed from your review and test measurements, that neither of you make any mention of the foam piece supplied with the speakers to reduce interaction between the tweeter and midrange. Was this piece used during the audition and testing? If not, for what reason? If you did, what difference did it make in your measurements? I've notice every review mentions this piece of foam except yours.

For the life of me, I can't remember. (Many speakers have passed through my test lab since the NHT review.) I will look up my lab notes to see what I did and report back.
