Interconnects for integrated amp?

I own a NAD 320BEE Integrated Amplifier. I wish to upgrade the interconnect cables (not sure if this is the correct term). I'm not referring to the cables between the amp and the CD player; rather I am referring to the little 6-inch cable that runs between (I assume) the pre-amp and the amp that is built into the same unit.

Question:

(1) Recommendations in the $100 range?
(2) Are these the same "interconnect" cables that run between my intergrated amp and CD player?

My current cables (interconnects between amp-cd as well as speaker cables) are from Audio Art (IC-3) -- great cables.

It sounds like you are missing the preamp out/main in bridge. You shouldn't need to use a cable. Call NAD and see if you can get a replacement. Look at this and you can see the RCA preamp out/main in bridge: http://nadelectronics.com/img/resampled/060619152549-1200-C325BEE_rear.jpg

Damn! Someone had to bring it up. Improve the sound of your integrated by ditching those cheap manufacture supplied jumpers with our new "fill in the blank" cables.

If the manufacture supplied jumpers were not upto their job why would the manufacturer put them there in first place? To degrade the performance of a well-known amp to save a few bucks?

Its in people's mind that those manufacture supplied jumpers are not upto the job. Everything can be improved, but hey, better invest in a better amp than spend 100 bucks on the interconnect.

Or why not do both?
$100 interconnect? For that price all you will get is a coat hanger wrapped with electrical tape.
