Based on the personnel that you listed I would say that the recording is from one of the "Jazz At The Philharmonic" concerts. The good news is that these recording have been reissued in many different forms so finding a good sounding mono verison should not be any trouble.
I'm not at home this weekend so I can't check my personal collection but I'm still about 95% sure that it's a JATP recording. I'll try and confirm things early next week.
Hi,
There is a Charlie Parker album titled Funky Blues, but I cannot think of which Johnny Hodges disc it may be on.
Could the disc you are looking for be this one?

Well, I nosed around Ebay and "Bam!" this disc popped up:
Sounds like it could be the one you describe.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but the song "Funky Blues" is indeed from one of the JATP jam sessions. In fact it's from a 1952 date and is currently available on several different CD issues under Charlie Parker's name. Just do a search for "Funky Blues" on the All Music Guide web site (www.allmusic.com) and follow the Charlie Parker links.
I haven't been listening to WKCR-FM's "Bird Flight" radio show every morning for the past 20 years or so for nothing you know.
Thanks to both Bhudda and Jazzfan for your help.
