I'm unfamiliar with the Polks, but owned the original PSB Alpha for a couple of years. Let a ex have them when we split, but we remain friends and I still hear them on occasion. Great speakers. The new improved versions have to be a screamin' bargain and I believe there is a matching center channel. Worth seeking out and auditioning.
