Filling in (Empty Fox)Holes

Boy oh boy, how I love the internet. My "Artists House Records" post of a few days ago had me looking through some of LPs and I realized that I had never filled in the hole in my Ornette Coleman collection of his Artists House release "Body Meta". Well a quick search on eBay turned up a few very reasonably priced LP copies with "Buy It Now" prices and I pulled the trigger.

The LP arrived in today's mail and it was exactly as advertised - vinyl in mint condition with the outer jacket showing some wear. Plays perfectly in beautiful analog sound. Recorded in Paris in December 1976, mixed in NYC in January 1978 and master by Bob Ludwig of Masterdisk, NYC. Sounds crystal clear but a tad shy of the bass.

What a rhythm section: Jamaaladeen Tacuma on electric bass and Shannon Jackson on drums - the dream team of harmolodic music. This was the original Prime Time band with Bern Nix and Charlie Ellerbee on guitars plus Ornette on alto sax.

Made my day.
