Do my ears deceive me? My Marantz SA8260 SACD Player has been having trouble reading hybrid SACDs, so I took it out of my systen to send it back for some warranty work and I put back in my 1988 Sonographe SD-1. I swear it sounds better. Is that possible?

I hate it when that happens. LOL
After a few weeks, you might change your mind again. I think that "different" often times seduces us as "better."
I know it has suckered me several times.
