Cable Price

The question has to be - would you pay 5 grand for a Monster cable? This thing is a copper conducter, with plastic insulation and gold plugs, but jeez c'mon

Are you kidding? Of course not. Nor anything even close. You've got to hand it to the people at Monster, though. They're apparently trying to deal with what might be a terminal problem. Last I heard, they haven't made a profit in three years, and folks at some of the big box merchandisers are cutting off their credit lines. Tweeter, wasn't it, that just dropped them altogether?

Right now I wouldn't pay 5 grand for any cable. If I win the power ball I may be open to persuasion.

If they have their name on a stadium they must not be doing too bad, or maybe that's why they're doing poorly!
