At what volume do I have to listen at to overcome the effects of the Fletcher-Munson curve?
When can we bypass our defective analog portion of our hearing and connect direct digital? That way we won't have to worry about damage to our poorly designed analog ears.
As long as we have an AGC circuit that prevents the A/D from being overdriven while at the same time maximizing S/N ratio.
DDL...it's coming Direct Digital Listening. Ya plug right into the nerve connectors that have been left inside your head, during mfg. DUP, I just read your "Direct Digital Listening" post and had a good laugh. I wish more of your posts could be like this; light-hearted and satirical. Unlike some of what you write, it was inoffensive, logical, and I could follow it. You've proven to me that you can entertain yourself and others without ruffling feathers. Please continue to do so.
