Without pretending to be any expert on the science, I note that virtually all popular sci-fi movies these days are variations on the Frankenstein theme -- the scientist irresponsibly playing with the Fruits of the Tree of Knowledge and bringing disaster. It helps to remember that curing the moribund was once considered playing God.
