Well, you could just come right out and ask for a free issue shipped to you. You are from the "Give Me" state of Washington, after all. And to add insult to injury, if you don't want to pay for shipping on a magazine there is no way in hell you want to pay for anything in the buyer's guide. No way. So, pretty please, with sugar on top, order your cheap ass a copy of the rag you want.
It's possible that as it hit the newsstands a month ago, those particular branches had sold out.
You mean from http://ssl.blueearth.net/primedia/home.php ?
I am afraid that the S&H charges are non-negotiable. Those are what the fullfilment house(a separate company) charges. But you could spread the charges across more than one item.

Thanks for that info. I suppose they could be temporarily sold out but I think it's more likely they never ordered them. One of the chains that rhymes with darns and mobile had all of one magazine that was even close to stereo related. I'll keep looking.
As for you Mr. Sanford, who pissed in your Wheaties? I've lived in WA for about three and a half years and don't recall reading anywhere anything about the "gimme state".
Ya read it here!
Saw it in a Border's store last week.
