Great description, May.
That's how my laser tweak happened!
I never really thought that it could tweak the air in the room. It started out purely as a visual treat.
Of course, that "Aha!" moment lead to getting down to brass tacks about wavelenghts and the heavy lifting, but that first moment, as you say, was a bolt out of the blue.
"As evidenced by a recent review by Clement Perry in January 2009 issue of StereoTimes on a Schumann resonator device. To quote Clement :-
>>> "The song features Gary Bias on woodwinds, and though I've listened to this song many times over the years, Bias sounded as though he was blowing with more intensity - with more air - providing his instrument and this remarkable jazz recording, more life and vibrancy." <<<
And COULD this example have been due to listening at a slightly higher volume level than previous listens? Answer - yes.
>>> "And COULD this example have been due to listening at a slightly higher volume level than previous listens? Answer - yes." <<<
With that answer you are denying Clement Perry, Editor of StereoTimes having the INTELLIGENCE of knowing whether the improvement in the sound which he heard was "by listening at a slightly higher level than previously" or not !!!!!
Why are you not prepared to give him credit for having some intelligence ???
Regards,
May Belt.
You said it yourself, May ...
This lets them off the hook and no further thought is required if they've already decided everything is bullshit or placebo or stupid errors on the part of someone else.
It's a dishonesty they easily accept in themself by leveling the misdeed as "everyone does it". Watching US politics over the decades one thing I've learned is that when one party accuses the other of some nefarious deed, it's not unusual to find the accuser has been doing the same thing for years if not actually been involved in the invention of the deed.
I will go out on a limb and project this thread will go at leasr 30 pages and be riddled with insults and ridiculous claims.
For a good time call Judith Warner at the New York Times.
I will go out on a limb and predict Frank will continue his trolling ways.
And to think just yesterday you said you'd take a bullet for me.
LOL!
So you do intend to stick around for all 30 pages, eh?
Absolutely! If it reaches 30 pages I'll have been correct in at least one of my posts' and gain some "cred" in the process.
