If the Tung-Sol 6AN8A's are actual new, as in NOS, they should fetch at least $100US each.
Wow.
What's that saying about a gold horse shoe?
Incredible. Wouldn't know where to start. Hope you like and use tube equipment.
thanks
barondla
Congratulations on your good fortune!
When I first saw the photos, I thought they were packs of cigarettes instead of tubes!
Trey
holy crap, nc!
Wow.
Awesome!
Let me know when you start selling some of those -- I need a few!
Congratulations-
If there are any styli for the Shure V15 cartridges in there those go for big money.
thanks for the kind words, everyone.
I am a tube guy(at home anyway...in the studio I use nothing but Solid State as it is a more "brutally honest" sort of result....which I need for analyzing my recordings)..for "personal, home" use, nothing but tubes(mostly low power SET with high efficiency speakers)..as i love the "euphonic" sound....
going to start cataloguing next week... lord knows what all I have...
ive never had to count this much of anything.
Hm, V15 type 4??? hmm. Hmm...
Got any good EL34's you might be interested in selling??
I found a pair of 7868's in a package in my garage. Somehow, I doubt too many people care. ...
I've got several tube gear here, including a Tek scope with enough tubes to heat a large room.
Shure V15 is also an interest here. If no new styli available, I'd have to change cartridges when the tip wears out.
I've been thinking about this amazing thing.
Congrats, first.
Second, consider getting in touch with Shindo Labs. Their designer seems to me to be at the cutting edge of squeezing out every last drop of a given tube's beneficence and you may be able to sell them to the most loving home possible.
You could look up Jonathan Halpern at Shindo USA and maybe there would be some fantastic movie type ending to this story!
Chers, man!
I think the only reasonable response to that post and pictures is: Holy Shit!
thats what I said the first time I Saw them all...(and there are two other rooms FULL that arent even in the pictures..)
I just love that sort of stuff. There was no need to post the same pictures twice in the same post to give the impression that there is more....
Really, that is great. It is a little gold mine.
Wow - that is an incredible amount of tubes!
Congrats
Let us know when (if) you ever want to sell - looking for some NOS 6BQ5's always .
