There are also the Bryston B-100 SST and the Musical Fidelity A5 to listen to. The Musical Fidelity A5 is quite a unit.
I remember hearing that Krell came out with a new integrated amp that got some good reviews.
Not sure if it has the umph you need though? But the $ was V appealing!
www.avahifi.com has a new integrated, with sonic superiority for less. Priced for mortals, designed with concepts based on reality. www.avahifi.com http://www.avahifi.com/root/equipment/control_amplifier/index.htm
Is your Creek getting plenty of air circulation? PSB speakers aren't known for being particularly difficult loads for an amplifier. If your amp is in an enclosed cabinet then I would ensure it's getting some air.
If you do decide to move up in power, consider that an increase of 3db requires a doubling of watts. Assuming the Creek puts out around 90 watts then you would need 360 watts to achieve an increase of 6db.

While your numbers are correct what is the significance of a 6db increase? You would need 900 watts for a 10db increase.
He has a small room and is thinking he hasn't enough power and is going to be moving to a larger room in the near future. A 6db increase seems reasonable, no?
