Hey!

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to Stereophile. I plan on being an active member of the forums.

I'm 13 years old, but despite my young age I'm grammatically correct most the time, and very mature for my age.

I've always had an interest in audio, and I just recently started trying to design systems to the best of my knowledge and capabilities.

I love audio in general, and I listen to music all the time! Some of my favorite artists would be

The Beatles, Regina Spektor, Led Zepelin, and more.

Hope to meet you all soon!

Welcome to the wild and

Welcome to the wild and wonderful worlds of audio and music!  They are pursuits that are relatively safe yet very rewarding.

A word to the wise:  Protect your hearing!  No better time to start than now.  If you mow the yard, wear hearing protection.  Protect your hearing from music that is so loud you can't hear your own normal speaking voice.  Some hearing loss as we age is normal, but we can minimize it if we take precautions.

Lecture over.  Now run along and have fun!wink

Loud automotive stereo systems will no doubt cause tone deafness over the long term. I have seen it time and time again.

Enjoy the art of music my friend.

Thanks!

Thanks guys! Loving my Klipsch Heresys. I'm currently saving up for some Martin Logan electrostatics. My klipsch's are way too bright!
