I recommend the PSB Alpha P5 speakers, which only cost $349 per pair. There is a review of them in the latest isue of Stereophile.

You will want a subwoofer. I recommend the Klipsch R10-SW, which Amazon is selling for $229 right now, which is $120 less than the list price.
