Google play

May get a google Chromebook - so I presume I would use Google Play for a music player.  If I feed it 24/192 and 24/96 files from a flash drive, will it output those files from USB port in full resolution to my external 24/192-capable DAC?

It is my understanding

that GooglePlay is a cloud player. I don't see anywhere that you can play files from a flash drive via google play. You can load your files onto your cloud storage and stream them. quality for these streams is somewhat limited https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1391343?hl=en

Whoa

And it downconverts flac & some other formats to 320kbps! Oh no, I will have to re-think this. Thank you Ariel!
