And where is... Sam?

While I just re-upped and received March and April issues very recently, I can't help to remember that Sam was out of commission for the past 2 issues. Cryptically, JA mentions in the back of the March issue, that 'Sam's Space' will return in the March 2013 issue..

Now, I do smoke a lot pot, but this one's been making me worry a bit over the last few days...

Is Maxim okay?

Is Stereophile reviving the "Audio Cheapskate" for a younger, more vibrant writer, say 44 and still sexy..?

Does Fremer need an Analog co-hort in digital crime fighting?

Well, I still have a lot of reading to catch up on so...

PS-

John- I remember the Larry Archibald days, and he was great. But you really blossomed the magazine with a wonderful dichotomy of the subjective and the technical like no other. Yes, there are British magazines and others with 'measurements', but no one else has conveyed the meaning and implications of their measurements in nearly an instructive manner. Between yourself and Bob Harley, I can't imagine what would have REALLY happened to the High End over the past 10-20 years. Deepest thanks, man.

Sam took a short furlough. He will be back in the May issue.

Thanks very much. It's been  a labor of love and reflects my core belief that a magazine without measurements is an empty shell.
