If your budget is only $3k max I would highly consider the following integrated amps :
* Peachtree Nova300.
* Rotel RA-1592 ($2500).
* Parasound Halo Integrated ($2500).
* Musical Fidelity M6 ($3k).
* Musical Fidelity M5 ($2k or $2500).
These integrated amps have onboard DAC.
In regards to the Naim Unity Atom you mentioned above, Naim makes spectacular gears especially digital front end components (streamer, DAC, etc) and The Naim Unity Nova would be awesome and has enough power to drive your Sonus Faber Venere 2.5 but it is way over your budget and it retails for around $7500.
Are you open to some used (second hand) gears as well?
kinda want new for warranty issues. So the atom is under powered then?
my second choice is the peachtree nova300 unless you can recommend one off your list that might be a better fit.
The Atom isn't underpowered for the size of the room and the speakers you mentioned.
