Personally, I've always found Polk speakers to be overly warm sounding and lacking in high frequency extension. I've never had a chance to hear the Epos but they've gotten very, very good reviews so they are certainly worth a listen. Other brands that make products in that price range that I recommend checking out would include Paradigm, Energy, and PSB.
the paradigm atom speakers sound quite good, and are well reviewed.

Looking at the ads on AudiogoN, I am interested in these two:

The Quad 11L's have a rating of 6ohms, while the Soliloquy have 10ohms. My receiver is rated at 8ohms. What difference does this make? Eventually I plan to get an integrated amp....
The impedance rating issue does not play out as being problematic or of any real concern, here.
Unless you can pick up the quads in person, it's not a good idea to trust someone with a zero seller rating. If you are a frequent eBay user, then you might have handle on how to go about making sure you aren't ripped off. I'm not saying the person is dishonest, it's just always best to be careful with new sellers. Seriously careful.
As in: 'never let the money get out of your sight for even one second.' Watch for any tiny sign of a 'bait and switch.'
I just purchased the Soliloquy 5.0 speaker pair, as well as some Audioquest Type 2 speaker wires so I can biwire the speakers. Other than a good turntable, would my next component upgrade be my receiver?
