Silly DUP, you really are getting desparate for things to disparage.
8 gauge v. 6 gauge is technically smaller, but I don't think anyone is going to claim that they need 6 gauge.
In fact, you constantly claim that anything as big as 8 gauge is ridiculous. So now you are going to miss 6 gauge?
Not me, but how they keep selling nonsese re whipped in a new blend of nonsense. No hoem audio needs 8 or 6 guage, not at all. Disparage? I QUESTION, I ponder, I question out loud, at all the claims and words of double talk that invades aduio products, all the magicians doing the absurditys, never print actual numbers, science, audio is as much a science as video and stuff.
DUP
As usual you make more contradictions than anyone.
In a power cord a thicker cable is going to provide better instant current delivery, what affect this has on the sound is subjective. Everything you preach is about watts and amps, therefore a 6 gauge should be your perfect zero impedance source ?
Alan

That's the problem, ya sees, wire guage relative to what is being wired. Ever see some ads showing a CD player that may be say about a 12watt load, and some wire magician is trying to convince ya's that ya needs this 8 ga. wire to run it. When ya get teh basics right, ya realize that's dopey. Thicker wire is only better when the load requires it. stick to the basics, and things sound better for less. I'm sure you hear the improvement that a 12W load of a CD player has, when ya use a gigantic oversized wire to power it, right? Stupid is as stupid does......Even a speaker loading, in your home enviorment ain't needin' no 6-8 gauage piece of wire , cus' your speakers sure ain't using that kind of current, or are they?
Jan, i love it when ya talk Martian. But learn how to spell quaualtieieotlue it's quaualtieotlue.
I was using the past redone-dunce tension which is appropriate here. Catch up, dup!
