Hey, I'm an audiophile—who am I to call somebody else's hobby odd? Besides, I recognize a bunch of these—like the TDK MAXG jobbies about 2/3s of the way down.

And someone actually designed each one of these. I am almost surprised how similar they all are, but given the constraints there is probably not that much leeway.
