HE 2004 Offers Free Live Music

Live music from popular recording artists is on tap for attendees at the Home Entertainment Show coming to NYC May 20—23, 2004 at the Hilton New York Hotel. And best of all—all performances are FREE to all Show attendees!

Pop and Jazz fans will fill the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton on Friday evening for a free benefit concert starring famed recording artist Joan Osborne as the main event, plus performances by the dynamic Tom Scott & The New York All Stars, Carla Lother, and Nicole Henry. Sponsored by XM Satellite Radio and Delphi, the concert will be broadcast live on XM Satellite Radio. An auction of audio and video gear donated by the Show's leading exhibitors will be held in conjunction with the concert to benefit The Elf Foundation.

Jazz and Blues artists will perform during special lunchtime sessions each day of the Show while devotees of early-music can enjoy the sounds of virtuoso Peter Sykes as he plays the harpsichord in a solo recital on Saturday evening.

Lunchtime music sessions will offer food and beverages at additional cost.

Open to the public, the Home Entertainment Show 2004 is a huge showcase of audio, video, home theater, computer, and digital photography products. Show attendees are encouraged to bring their own CDs to test-drive some of the consumer electronics industry's finest products. Digital photography enthusiasts can check out the Digital Pavilion—a presentation of the finest digital imaging equipment available.
