I have enormous respect for the guys at Zu. But from having listened to some of their speakers at Shows, I believe Zu's design goals for their speakers are sufficiently different from the consensus at Stereophile that I am not sure what would be gained by arranging a review. Sorry.

I think what would be gained is that a good number of Stereophile readers will get Stereophile's take on the Zu speakers and they will be able to compare the Stereophile review against others like 6moons. It would give Zu a forum through the manufacturer's comments section to respond to the review and it would give the readers food for thought with regard to what they look for in a system and sound reproduction.
If you're that concerned about a bad review, let Art Dudley review it. If he likes the Lowthers, he can at least give perspective of someone who subscribes to that type of design philosophy.

That is exactly why they should be reviewed. They are different. And they are very efficient.
No - I do not own them
