Hello. First post to this forum.
I set up some nice KLH speakers (L&R - on a shelf with ~10' of separation) and there is also a woofer box. For convenience, I have set the woofer box on a lower shelf between the 2 main speakers.
Someone said that to get the best effect from the woofer, it should be set directly on the floor, not on a shelf a foot off the floor. Is this true ??
If the above is true, must the woofer box (with, or course a large port hole in the back) be backed up to the wall, or can it be as effective turned at a right angle - parallel with the wall ??
Any thoughts are appreciated.
