Vampire Weekend's super-rockin' eponymous debut, Spoon's Ga, Ga, Ga, Ga, Ga and Queens of the Stone Age's Songs for the Deaf—but only in small doses. I also like Todd Snider's East Nashville Skyline and, later on, Cat Power's The Greatest.
